My friends call me Erin B.  Although my parents thought they were being creative naming me after the actress who played, Joanie on "Happy Days," apparently the name was more popular than they thought. I was often one of many Erins in a particular setting, hence the utilization of my last initial being added, and it stuck.

I could never select one thing I wanted to pursue, and photography seems to check most of the boxes of things I find interesting. My passion for shedding light on women's issues has been the catalyst for The Sesh Portraiture. I began photographing women specifically in 2008. Behind the camera, I was just doing what I love. In front of the camera, healing was happening.

I was connecting with women like never before. They would share their stories of tragedy, triumph, struggles, insecurities and quest for empowerment. Listening to their stories and asking why they were seeking photography services led to developing a platform for women to be photographed in a way that allowed them to connect to their potential audience and themselves. I like to think of The Sesh as more than a photography session, but an overall experience and opportunity to learn more about how others see the world from their perspective, and how we can use portraiture to connect.

I am a self described modern Renaissance woman, a survivor, fiercely independent, inquisitive and loyal. My greatest reward is when a client becomes a friend.
